Our whole-curriculum resource, Purple Mash, includes a variety of activities on the topic. These range from those focusing on password safety, managing upsetting internet content, social media sharing, online friendship, digital footprint and digital citizenship. It also has a growing collection of email simulations which create hypothetical online safety scenarios and provide feedback on appropriate actions to take.
Our safeguarding programme, Dot Com Digital, meets all the requirements of the 2020 RSE Statutory Framework. Alongside 24 other themes, there is a whole section dedicated to ‘being safe and internet safety threats’.
